Exquisite Corpse, free and nothing to download
Exquisite corpse is the drawing game invented by the Surrealists: you fold a sheet of paper and each person draws a part of the body without seeing what the others did. Here the paper is the screen: you draw the head, the body or the legs seeing only a strip with the end of the previous part. You can play two ways. On a single phone, each player draws their part and passes the phone. Or each on your own phone, by creating a room and sharing the link: everyone draws at the same time, each player starts their own creature and the papers rotate, so nobody waits for their turn. When everyone is done, the whole creatures are unfolded at once. Something absurd always comes out, and you can name them and save them as images.
Tips and variations
- Extend your lines well past the line at the bottom: the more clues you leave, the better the next part will fit.
- Mix styles fearlessly: a fish head on a torso wearing a tie works wonders.
- Give each creature a grand name and save the image to build your own collection.
