Proverbs, free and nothing to download
A proverbs game to test how many old sayings your whole family really knows. The start of a proverb appears, like "The early bird...", and you have to say the ending out loud before revealing it; every proverb also comes with its meaning explained in a few words. In What does it mean?, you see the whole proverb and pick its meaning out of three options, on one phone or everyone on their own phone in a room: you all see the same proverb at once and whoever answers correctly first scores more. Play freely or in teams with a scoreboard, with a 10 or 20 second timer for extra excitement.
Tips and variations
- Read the beginning in your best grandma voice and pause for a second: the ending comes on its own.
- Turn on the 10 second timer once everyone knows the easy ones.
