True or Tall Tale?, free and nothing to download
A topic comes up, like your worst haircut or the time you got lost, and the storyteller secretly sees whether they must tell something that really happened or make it up. They get about a minute to tell the story, everyone else grills them with questions, and then you vote. Guessing right earns points, but fooling the whole group earns a lot more.
Tips and variations
- To sell a tall tale, mix real details with one invented one.
- If you have no real story about the topic, change it before you look: you might get truth.
- Ask for specific details: dates, names, what you were wearing.
