Code Words, free and nothing to download
Code Words is a team clue game, in the spirit of board games like Codenames. The captains look at the secret map and give a word and a number so their team finds their agents without touching the assassin. You can leave one phone in the middle of the table (and open the same map on each captain's phone with the board code) or play each on your own by creating a room: everyone picks a team, the captains see the map and type the clue on their phone, and the agents reveal cards on theirs.
Tips and variations
- A good clue connects two or three cards; risking four often ends with the assassin.
- With one board on the table, use its code so each captain sees the map on their own phone.
- Ban faces and gestures from the captain: only the word and the number count.
