Dice Poker, free and nothing to download
Classic dice poker, with the score sheet done for you. Each turn you roll five dice up to three times, keep the ones you want and score the roll in one of thirteen boxes: ones to sixes, three and four of a kind, full house, straights, five of a kind and chance. The sheet shows what each box would give you before you decide, so nobody makes adding mistakes. It's in the spirit of games like Yahtzee, and it's addictive because every roll is a small gamble: do you go for five of a kind or lock in the full house? You can also play each on your own phone by creating a room: whoever's turn it is rolls on theirs and everyone else instantly sees the dice roll, what gets kept and how the sheets fill up.
Tips and variations
- Chase the bonus early: three of each number in the top section gives you exactly 63.
- Save chance for the end, when a bad roll doesn't fit any other box.
- If you have to score a zero, sacrifice a hard box like five of a kind or the ones.
