Stop, free and nothing to download
The classic Stop game, also known as Tutti Frutti or Categories, without having to come up with the letter or the categories yourself. The game draws a letter, picks random categories or the ones you choose, and sets the timer. You can play two ways: with pen and paper and a single phone that draws the letter for everyone, or each on your own phone by creating a room and sharing the link. That way everyone writes on their own phone without seeing anyone else's answers until someone calls Stop!, and the points add up automatically: unique 10, repeated 5 and blank 0.
Tips and variations
- With no timer, the first to finish shouts Stop! and everyone puts their pen down.
- Pick harder categories (brands or capitals, for example) for adults.
- Vote on a doubtful word with a show of hands: if most players don't accept it, it scores zero. With a phone each, just tap it to vote against it.
