Reversi, the strategy game in the spirit of games like Othello, for two players two ways: on one phone on the table or each on your own, by creating a room and sharing the link, even if you're far apart. Take turns placing discs that trap your opponent's discs in a straight line, and every trapped disc flips with an animation. The game highlights the possible moves, passes the turn automatically when someone can't move and keeps a live disc count. You learn it in a minute and every game can turn around until the very last move.
Tips and variations
- Corners are gold: a disc in a corner can never be flipped.
- Avoid the squares next to an empty corner, they hand the corner to your opponent.
- Having fewer discs in the middle of the game isn't bad: what matters is having more moves.
