Unique Clues, free and nothing to download
Unique Clues is a cooperative word game, in the spirit of Just One, to play on one phone or each on your own. Each round, one player guesses and everyone else secretly writes a one-word clue to help them. The twist is that repeated clues cancel out, and here that's detected automatically: capital letters, accents or plurals make no difference. You have 13 cards to get the best score together, so be original without being too clever. If everyone uses their own phone, create a room: you all write your clue at the same time, without passing anything around, and the guesser only sees the surviving clues on their screen and types their answer.
Tips and variations
- Avoid the most obvious clue: someone else has surely thought of it too and it will cancel out.
- If only one good clue is left, the guesser should think before speaking: there's only one try.
- Passing costs just one card; a wrong guess costs two. When in doubt, pass.
